Grass dry matters are currently below 12 per cent. Grass growth rates have been excellent because of high temperatures and inclement weather. However cows are not happy in these grazing conditions. Cows are loosing BCS in a period when they should be gaining BCS prior to dry cow transition.

Get accurate aging of pregnancies to enable better management of your dry cows and the timing of vacination pre calving to control clostridial diseases in calves post calving.

Identify cows carrying twins to enable better management from now through calving.

Identify empty cows with a focus on either their future removal or retention in the herd.

Address lamness in your cows as it will reduce their future survival in the herd.
