Remove stock bulls from your maiden heifers. Ensure these bulls are fertile by scanning your maiden heifers now.

Transfer the stock bulls from maiden heifers to your dairy herd. Increase bull power available.

Scan your cows now to identify cows with embryo death. These cows can not return to heat for 6-9 weeks after embryo death and these cows can be effectively culled.

Scanning cows for embryo death will ensure these cows have another opportunity to calve in April 2017.

Ensure lungworm,stomach and liver fluke are not decreasing the body condition score in your cows. Milk samples, dung samples will give an indication of level of infection in the herd.
