Superb reproductive performance in a dairy herd in Youghal, Co. Cork.

Scanned a dairy herd of 350 cows on the Cork/Waterford border, the confirmed pregnancy rate for the 1^st 25 days of the breeding programme was 61%. The scanning also revealed that there was no undetected oestrus in cows presumed pregnant. Non pregnant cows were accounted for by embryonic mortality.
