Scanning cows in a lake

Over the years I have been asked to scan cows in many different locations, ranging from the corner of a field, to the kitchen in an old house. In Waterfall, Co. Cork, I called to a farmyard to scan a herd of suckler cows. As I entered the yard all I could see ahead of me was a lake. Further inspection revealed the cows were standing knee high in water. There was a steep gradient down into the crush facility, the farmer explained that heavy rainfall had left gullies blocked and water could not escape. I proceeded to scan the cows in a crush with 3 feet of water. Needless to say I got wet feet.
